Setting up power line connectors
-
If your modem is not near your TV Set-Top Box (STB), you can connect your STB to your modem using the 2 Power Line Connection (PLC) adapters included in your setup kit:
-
To do this, attach one ethernet cable to your STB and then into a PLC adapter. Connect the PLC adapter to a nearby electrical wall outlet.
-
Attach the second ethernet cable directly into your modem and into the second PLC. Connect the PLC to a convenient electrical wall outlet.
-
The two PLCs can now establish a connection between your modem and your set-top box.
