Setting Up Parental Controls on Your Amino Set-Top Box

You can add Parental Controls so other family members can access only appropriate programs. This feature is only available using your Set-Top Box.

First, you need to enable the PIN on Login for the main user profile:

1. From the Home menu, select your account. You can also go to your account by clicking the Left Arrow button while in the Guide 

2. Select Users, then select Edit User.

3. Enter the PIN included in your Distributel TV Welcome Letter. 

4. Select PIN on Login and enable it on the Profile Settings page.

Add Parental Controls to a new or an existing user profile:

1. From the Home menu, select your account and then select Users. You can also go to your account by clicking the Left Arrow button while in the Guide.

2. To create a new profile, select Add a User Profile.

3. Select Edit User, and in the Settings, select Parents Controls 

4. Enter the PIN included in your Distributel TV Welcome Letter on the Movie Rating and the TV Rating Flags, then select the content you want to block. 

The profile does not require the PIN to watch acceptable content. The PIN is needed to change the user profile, or access blocked content.
